£65.00

Six evocative photographic images from Graham’s ARPS panel ‘Relics and Ruins’ featuring Cornish Mining Heritage - reflections on a career as the last Mill Engineer at the world famous South Crofty mine, now awarded World Heritage status. Learn more…

Our ‘Relics and Ruins’ handmade Special Edition illustrated notebook is very special. The unique cover design has a window containing one of the series images protected by an acrylic cover which is held in place with solid copper or brass rivets and the whole case is covered with a striking Burgundy red bookcloth.

Inside, we use complementary eye-catching printed marbled paper design endpapers (produced by Jemma Lewis) to hold our 168 page book blocks safely in place. They consist of blank, lined and squared pages with all six of the ‘Relics and Ruins’ prints spaced at intervals throughout.

We also add a multi-coloured, hand dyed page marker ribbon so you’ll never lose your place and smart headbands complete the book.

This beautiful book demands a suitably distinctive clamshell case to hold it. We sourced a fabulous Nepalese Lokta paper, handmade from the bark of a mulberry bush which is then hand printed with a mesmerising design called ‘Circles’ - a perfect match! The cover and both trays inside the case are lined with this amazing paper which complements our ‘Relics and Ruins’ illustrated notebook perfectly and makes this set a truly wonderful gift to be treasured.
