SQUEAKY BINDERS

We handcraft beautifully bound designer journals and notebooks, some illustrated with our own artwork, each available with a slipcase or clamshell case.

Our range include notebooks made traditionally with hand sewn signatures and hard covers, eco-friendly cork wrap journals, wire-bound artists sketchbooks, photo albums or guest books suitable for a variety of milestone events.

We are Lynn and Graham - we created the South West Photography School Partnership in 2012 to teach photography and image-making in our converted barn studio a couple of miles from Lanhydrock House in central Cornwall.

Some ten years later the pandemic changed everything and the SWPS Partnership has evolved into a bookbinding and printmaking studio under the trademark of Squeaky Binders.

Why ‘Squeaky Binders’ you ask? Well, when we were thinking of what to call our new enterprise the television series ‘Peaky Blinders’ was the latest big hit … we went bonkers with some felted mice and the rest, as they say, is history …
